My jewellery journey started way back with an evening class in Silversmithing. I could spend a few hours in the local school's metal workshop, exploring how the copper and silver yielded to fire, sawing and hammering, lost in whatever I was making for the evening.
My further Fine Art background and education in Birmingham led me to be interested in materials and process, which in turn came full circle back to creating jewellery.
I take huge pride in creating each piece, from initial design to finished piece, using traditional techniques and tools at my bench. I aim to use recycled silver whenever possible and use crystals, semi precious stones and, my personal favourite and a naturally recycled product - sea glass.
I love to create jewellery that my customers can hold a story to, whether it's a piece I have created for my collection, or a commissioned piece with a customers own personal story, creating each piece is a joyful process and one I will share with you to create your perfect piece.
